Photos: Met gay Police officers get engaged at London Gay Pride

A couple of police officers got engaged at London Gay Pride today and the proposals were caught on camera. The pictures tweeted by the Met's LGBT network shows one of the officer, who appears to have been on duty at the time, asking his boyfriend to marry him as festival revellers set off confetti cannons in the background.

The wife of Maine Republican Governor, Ann LePage got a waitressing job a few weeks ago to "supplement" her husband's $70,000 per year salary, the lowest of any U.S. governor. The Governor Paul LePage made this known at a recent town hall in Maine.

Photos: Brutal Woman who cut off her step-son's penis in Minna has been arrested

This gruesome incident happened two days ago in Minna, Niger State. If you missed the story, read here. The woman named Bara'atu (pictured) is the step mother of the victim. She allegedly cut off his penis out of 'jealousy' and has now been arrested & placed in custody. The boy survived the incident and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Minna. Photos: Young lady allegedly turns into a cat in Ibadan

According to the Head of News at Fresh 105.9 FM, Ibadan, Samson Akindele, this young lady turned into a cat and was found inside a store of a house at Ringroad area of Ibadan, Oyo state last Tuesday. He shared the photos above and wrote

This girl was said to have transformed from a cat into a human being at dawn today. She was allegedly found as a cat in the store of a house at Ringroad area in Ibadan.

Photos: Man uses his car to knock down thief who robbed & zoomed off on a bike

According to eyewitness Igbinedion Sammy, this happened this morning at 22 road, Festac, Lagos. The robber (pictured) robbed a motorist, immediately got on his bike and zoomed off. The victim gave him a chase with his car and was successfully able to knock him down.

The shocked thief had a deep bloody cut on his head and when he noticed a crowd gathering, he pleaded for people to call police in order to avoid jungle justice. See more photos after the cut.
