N145 pump price will crash in three months- APC chairman says

The leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC says the new N145 pump price of petrol will crash within thhe next three months. In a media briefing with newsmen in Abuja yesterday May 13th, the Chairman of the party, John Odigie-Oyegun, says just like the Global System of Mobile telecommunication, GSM, the price of fuel is bound to reduce due to competitive market forces.

According to him:
“From our point of view as a party, it has become necessary to fully and in order to recover from the economic situation which we have been plunged to totally free the economy and let the normal laws of demand and supply operate. Of course, with government standing by to protect the long suffering Nigerian who is at the margin. If is unfortunate, it is painful what has happened, it will increase cost in all directions. But in the medium term, in three months at best, I foresee that the prices will come crashing down when there is availability. NNPC will continue to be in the field anyway either through the refineries whenever our pipelines are allowed to function or through importation and so will continue to be a player in the fuel supply market. Prices are bound to come down. A typical example is what happened when mobile phones were introduced. I remember that I bought a SIM card for over N30,000, but today, it is virtually free. If we free the fuel market, that same thing will happen which was as a result of competition is likely to happen. “Over time, the subsidy regime has become so intensely manipulated, so abused that it really was no longer operating in the interest of the Nigerian public.
I think that it has become very clear that the kind of queues that has become endemic over several regimes in this nation is a clear indication that something has gone seriously wrong with the subsidy regime. Those who were privileged were exploiting it to amass more wealth. Meanwhile, the people for whom it was basically meant had to bear the cost in higher transport fare. Each time these queues develop, of course the ordinary Nigerian bears the cost while the importers and manipulators of the system are the ones that makes all the money. If the region of subsidy is to be reintroduced, it can only divert resources from the crying needs of other sectors, including the programme to help the Nigerians living at the margin. So, the appeal which is a very sincere appeal to the Nigerian people; yes there is a lot of hardship, yes increased pump price will also increase that hardship.
But the economy is being freed in a way that the ordinary Nigerian will become the major beneficiary and we are talking of a matter of months from removing this one last bottleneck that has held the Nigerian economy down. So, it is an appeal and we should watch what happen in the next few months as far as the fuel issue is concerned because I am sure it will come crashing down. In any case, it will free resources eventually that will be used to create good jobs which has been promised and improve the lot of the Nigerians at the margin.
That is the message the party wants to convey. The economy is in bad shape as a result of which our people are going through hard times”, he said

Must Read- How To Make A Nigerian Man Marry You As Soon As Possible

Getting a Nigerian man to marry you is the easiest thing in the world I tell you. Pay attention to this post and read it from beginning to the end. This is your chance to stop being single and get a-mingling. These easy steps will get you married, bedded, bare foot and pregnant in less than a year, guaranteed or your money back.

-- Be very religious. Nigerian men loveeeee them some religious girls. you don't actually have to be, you just have to pretend that you are. talk about the night vigils you go to every now and then. slip in some Bible passages in random conversations even when they don't fit in. Give him a Bible for his birthday. call him randomly for "morning prayers". a nigerian man will marry a woman who appears to be religious. fake it till you get that ring baby girl.

-- Pretend to be maternal. Pretend that you love children so much. especially other people's children. coo at them at grocery stores, malls, lounges, planes. talk about how much you love children. carry his friends' kids all day long. offer to help feed them. it doesn't matter that you don't love other people's kids and think that children can be such dicks from a very early age, it should not matter. pretend girl. you're auditioning to be his baby popper, act like one.

-- Don't ever mention that you're a "feminist". femi-gini? that shit don't live here miss. Fuck women rights. accept all traditional roles even when you're dating. when you are dating him, make sure his food is ready as soon as he walks through that door bitch. it doesn't matter that you're in school or you are also working like him, shit like that don't matter. you have to show your man that you can put your back into it and be that super woman who will clean, cook, pop your back in bed and still pop out those kids.

-- You gats deny all them man them. Have you ever had sex? made out with someone? ummm...you don't have to tell your nigerian man that. when you're asked your body count is 1 or 2, never more than 3 though cos you're already side stepping into whoredom. never mind that your nigerian man's count is like  54, who cares? he's only out there fucking everything in skirt so that he can impress you in bed. all of what he does is for you, you ingrate!! he's out there putting his penis in everything in other to come home and please you in bed and you have the guts to say you have a body count of more than 3? if any man claims he has slept with you, cry and swear that you know no such man. refer to rule number 1, start quoting Bible passages about how your enemies are chasing you and shit.
that whole subtracting 7 from your body count is bullshit. you only have 3 choices: 1, 2, or 3. other than that, you might as well just remain single.

-- A nigerian man has needs that only you can't meet. you have to give him some penis room. why are you being selfish? let men be men. let them have wings to fly. don't be asking him why he came home late. you smell perfume on him? be happy that some girl is keeping him moisturized and smelling all good. that's one thing you don't have to do today. Let them have some fun girl, you just want that ring on your finger don't you? relax. that diamond that you can instagram with well manicured fingers is coming.

-- Last but not least, cook up a storm!!! your man should not be going hungry. cater to his food palette girl!! if you don't cook for him some other girl will cook for him and steal him away. cook him new delicacies all day, find out how his mother used to do it, cook for his friends too. why do you want to eat in restaurant? please use that money and take your arse to the grocery store and make that man some food. let him save that money he would have used to take you out on your ring darling. be wise. a stitch in time saves nine.

I actually copied this article from http://leggy-freda.blogspot.de/2013/04/how-to-get-nigerian-man-to-marry-you.html?m=1

7 Reasons why we close our eyes when kissing

1. “To let the lips talk”
After talking and using so many words, kissing is a way we express intimacy that no words can articulate.

2. “It is a sign of pleasure”
We close our eyes every time we are experiencing something pleasurable; when we listen to a beautiful song, when we pray, when we worship, when we sleep, when having an orgasm, when drinking sweet chocolate.

3. “It is a sign of trust”
You don’t have to be eyes-wide opened and on the look out when you are in a place of trust and security.

4. “It heightens pleasure”
When one of your five senses is blocked, the other senses are heightened in function; ask the blind, the deaf or dumb. When you close your eyes when kissing, your sense of touch that connects your lips is heightened. You concentrate on the sweetness of the lips.

5. “It is a sign of surrender”
It shows you are not fighting the kiss, you’re kissing back, you’re giving into the moment.

6. “To avoid an awkward scene”
It will be weird and spooky when you have wide-opened eyes looking directly at you at such a close distance for so many minutes.

7. “You are turned on”
A long kiss is such a turn on. Closing your eyes is you shutting off everything that is happening around you, to concentrate on the arousal and excitement happening inside you.

Nigerian Vice President Osinbajo explains N145 fuel price increase

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on Friday gave more insight into the reasons behind increase of the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) also known as petrol.

The government on Wednesday had increased the price from N86.50 per litre to maximum of N145 per litre.
In a statement he signed by himself, Osinbajo noted that there are many misconceptions that followed the announcement of new pump price.
According to him, the increase has nothing to do with subsidy removal but was a result of foreign exchange problem in the face of dwindling earnings.
In the statement titled ‘The Fuel Pricing Debate: Our Story’, Osinbajo said: “I have read the various observations about the fuel pricing regime and the attendant issues generated. All certainly have strong points.
“The most important issue of course is how to shield the poor from the worst effects of the policy.  I will hopefully address that in another note.
“Permit me an explanation of the policy. First, the real issue  is not a removal of subsidy. At $40 a barrel there isn’t much of a subsidy to remove.
“In any event, the President is probably one of the most convinced pro-subsidy advocates.
“What happened is as follows: our local consumption of fuel is almost entirely imported. The NNPC exchanges crude from its joint venture share to provide about 50% of local fuel consumption. The remaining 50% is imported by major and independent marketers.
“These marketers up until three months ago sourced their foreign exchange from the Central Bank of Nigeria at the official rate. However, since late last year, independent marketers have brought in little or no fuel because they have been unable to get foreign exchange from the CBN. The CBN simply did not have enough. (In April, oil earnings dipped to $550 million. The amount required for fuel importation alone is about $225million!) .
“Meanwhile, NNPC tried to cover the 50% shortfall by dedicating more export crude for domestic consumption. Besides the short term depletion of the Federation Account, which is where the FG and States are paid from, and further cash-call debts pilling up, NNPC also lacked the capacity to distribute 100% of local consumption around the country. Previously, they were responsible for only about 50%. (Partly the reason for the lingering scarcity).” He said
He said that the government realised that it was left with only one option, which was to allow independent marketers and any Nigerian entity to source their own foreign exchange and import fuel.
According to him, the government expected the marketers  to source foreign exchange at an average of about N285 to the dollar, (current interbank rate).
He added: “They would then be restricted to selling at a price between N135 and N145 per litre.
“We expect that with competition, more private refineries, and NNPC refineries working at full capacity, prices will drop considerably. Our target is that by Q4 2018 we should be producing 70% of our fuel needs locally. At the moment even if all the refineries are working optimally they will produce just about 40% of our domestic fuel needs.
“You will notice that I have not mentioned other details of the PPPRA cost template. I wanted to focus on the cost component largely responsible for the substantial rise, namely foreign exchange. This is therefore not a subsidy removal issue but a foreign exchange problem, in the face of dwindling earnings.” He stated

MTN is no longer Africa’s most valuable telecoms operator

Battered by a bad year in Nigeria, South Africa’s MTN has lost the title of Africa’s most valuable telecommunications company to its rival Vodacom.

At market close on Thursday (May 12), MTN’s market capitalization was $15.8 billion, trailing behind Vodacom’s $16.4 billion, reported Bloomberg. This year is the first time Vodacom overtook MTN since 2009, the year Vodacom first listed its shares. Hinting at what was to come, Vodacom very briefly surpassed MTN on April 8 and May 6.

MTN’s shares have weakened by 32% since October last year, when news broke that it had been slapped with a record fine by Nigerian regulators. The Nigerian Communications Commission fined MTN $5.2 billion for failing to disconnect unregistered SIM cards, which pose a public security threat.

The fine was later revised to $3.9 billion, but the issue has yet to be resolved, while senior executives were forced to step down. Nigeria is home to MTN’s largest subscriber base, with 62.5 million users. Even before the fine, MTN had to adjust it’s growth forecast in Nigeria, with the company reporting earnings lower than expected. During that same time, Vodacom gained 12%.

“The problem is all the uncertainties hanging over MTN’s head,” Irnest Kaplan, a telecommunications analyst at Vunani Securities, told Bloomberg. “The market needs to know who the next CEO will be, but most importantly the market needs to be updated on the fine negotiations and if there has been any progress. Markets do not like uncertainty.”

Vodacom, a subsidiary of the UK telecommunications giant Vodafone, is South Africa’s largest mobile phone operator with 33.7 million subscribers. It operates in five other African countries, with 61 million subscribers in total.

MTN’s growth has come from beyond the borders of its South African base, with the group’s bright yellow logo present in 16 other African states other. MTN also operates in the Middle East and Afghanistan, with a global subscriber base of 229 million users and about 168 million in Africa.
