Even though he is a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Monday, February 13, 2017 visited Rivers state for the second time in one week.

Wife seeks divorce over husband’s “withdrawal method” during sex



A 36-year-old seamstress, Sherifat Adetunji, on Friday pleaded at a Lagos Island Customary Court that her marriage should be dissolved on ground that her husband was no longer ejaculating inside her during sex.

The mother of two said her 10-year-old marriage was blissful until five years ago when things started changing.
She lamented that her husband could go a year or more without making love to her and that when he did he would not ejaculate inside her.

Rivers Rerun: Nigeria Police recover N111 million from 23 ‘corrupt’ INEC officials

Bribe recovered by the Nigerian Police 
The panel constituted to investigate the electoral and other offences perpetrated during the December 10 Rivers Parliamentary re-run election has said that it recovered N111 million from 23 INEC officials.

The Chairman of the panel, Damian Okoro, made the allegation while presenting the team’s report to the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, in Abuja on Tuesday.

ABUJA—The Federal Government, yesterday, gave reasons for the delay in the commencement of Ogoni clean-up exercise, saying it was to build a solid foundation for the project.
It will be recalled that in June, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo, launched the “Clean-Up of Ogoniland” at Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Ericsson Nigeria, the local subsidiary of the global telecoms solutions provider, has disengaged about 160 permanent and outsourced workers in its Network Operating Centre, investigations have shown.
